California Dreamin
DRACAR visited the California Duelway today using the new Car Wars 5th Edition rules for its third event, the California 500.  Kimmy Effrig took home the victory in her #8 Budweiser Rocket Shrimp, scoring her first win under her new sponsorship.  NASCAR Heat 2002 for XBox was up next giving local favorite, Dean Gibson in the #32 Tide, his first victory of the season at California Speedway.

Viagra Dominates Opener
Andy Robertson won the DRACAR National season opener on the Formula De Morocco track, leading for 40 of 59 turns, and then won the second event of the day rolling the Dice with NASCAR Champions.

National Series Begins Today
DRACAR's 4th season begins today with the DRACAR National Formula De opener at the Morocco track, NASCAR Champions will also be played immediately following the race at Morocco.  An open invitation has been extended to all players nation or world wide via the internet and Dracos Software's NetRoller application.  Internet users can tune in to the race via Yahoo Messenger's video camera sharing feature, by adding the friend "dracos12" and tuning into the viewable camera there.  Users should also log into the DRACAR Chat system at the Yahoo! DRACAR Group available at the Msg Board link in the navigation bar. It's off to the races!

DRACAR Begins 4th Season
DRACAR held pre-season expeditionary races using Formula De and NASCAR Heat 2002 for XBox as the governing body decided the format for the upcoming season.  The 2002 season will offer two Series of competition: DRACAR National and DRACAR Southwest.  DRACAR National will hold on-line competition with the following games: Formula De, NASCAR Champions, Car Wars, and NASCAR Heat 2002 for XBox.  DRACAR Southwest will occur only at Strategicon conventions and will consist of: Car Wars the Card Game, Formula De, NASCAR Champions, Car Wars, NASCAR Heat 2002 for XBox, Off Road Test Drive for XBox.
